Booking conditions

A deposit of £50 is required when booking. The balance is due six weeks before the course start date. If you cancel giving more than 8 weeks notice we will refund the deposit, less than 8 weeks and the deposit will be forfeited, as will be the full amount if you cancel 2 weeks before the start of the course. Every effort will be made to fit you on another course (in which case there is no charge).
If you take out the appropriate insurance, cancellation is usually covered by the policy

Sailing

Fees:

  • 2 Hours sail £25.00
  • Day sail per person (yacht + skipper + tuition) £60.00
  • Weekend course £125.00
  • 5 Day course £425.00
  • Skippered Charter (per person per day) from £75.00
  • International Certificate of Competency from £40.00 (depending on number of people)

Powerboat

Fees:

  • 1/2 Hour come and try it £12.50
  • Level 1 course £125.00 (one day)
  • Level 2 Course £150 (Two days)
Other services
  • Diesel engine course £55.00
  • First Aid at Sea course from£45.00
  • Deliveries and own boat tuition by negotiation

Food is provided onboard Ventura when clients stay overnight. Let us know if you have specific dietary requirements.
On longer courses people usually like to eat out on a couple of evenings. So we supply the following meals

5-day courses: Breakfasts, lunches and 3 evening meals
2-day courses: Breakfasts and lunches

To book you can ring +44 (0)1445 781729 or e-mail us and we will provisionally hold your booking for 7 days during which, you need to confirm with the booking form and a £50 deposit. If the booking is within 4 weeks please pay the full amount

Payment details:
Cost is in £. sterling.
Euros and US dollars are acceptable and for other currencies, payment in sterling through the bank with conversion at exchange rate when deposit and final payment is made.
